titleOfInvention | Flame-retardant polyester resin and composition for injection molding |
abstract | A polyester resin which has a flame retardancy and excellent toughness-related properties such as elongation and impact resistance, while maintaining the excellent heat resistance of a crystalline polyester, is provided by the polycondensation of (a) 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof, (b) 1,4-butanediol and (c) a halogenated ester-forming compound (c) are subjected as the feed monomers to polycondensation to prepare a flame-retardant polyester resin for injection molding having a halogen content of 10 to 20 wt. %. |
