titleOfInvention Recombinant collagenase type II from clostridium histolyticum and its use for the isolation of cells and cellular agglomerations
abstract Process for dissolving cell tissue and releasing cells or cell clusters contained therein by incubating the cell tissue with a Collagenase Class II from Clostridium histolyticum, which after 12 freezing / thawing cycles still has considerable collagenase activity and in a characteristic sub-area SEQ ID NO: 2 or 10 contains or in this region of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 9 or a sequence which is encoded in the context of the degeneration of the genetic code for the same amino acid sequence and which is the product of a prokaryotic or eukaryotic expression of an exogenous DNA , until the cells or cell groups are released to the desired extent and the cells or cell groups are separated from the cell tissue components.
