abstract |
The present invention is concerned with European strains of the Porcine Reproductive Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) virus, which are attenuated, and show a characteristic reaction pattern with two monoclonal antibodies against wild-type PRRSV. The invention also relates to vaccines for the protection of pigs against PRRS, to monoclonal antibodies reactive with PRRS virus and monoclonal antibodies specifically non-reactive with the attenuated strains. |
