abstract |
A liquid chromatographic system comprising (a) at least one separation module (4); (b) at least one flow line (5); and (c) optionally at least one ancillary module (7). The system is characterized in that the modules (4 and 7) have functionally similar end-connecting means (8); in that two or more functionally similar connecting devices (6) are provided along the flow line (5) and intended for connecting the modules (4 and 7), thereby enabling a module (4, 7) to be connected functionally to any desired connecting device (6) on the flow line (5). |
