titleOfInvention Water soluble surfactant mixtures from microbial biomass
abstract The invention relates to water-soluble surfactant mixtures which can be produced inexpensively from microbial biomasses such as industrial waste products by alkaline hydrolysis and further chemical reaction with fatty acid chlorides or fats and propylene oxide.n n n The new surfactant mixtures have improved water solubility and can advantageously be used, for example, as industrial emulsifiers or cleaning agents and, in the broadest sense, as surfactants.
