abstract |
The sensible heat from the flue gases produced in a fluidized bed combustion process (10) are first transferred to the combustion air in a conventional air preheater (40). Additional heat is then recovered in fluid coupled heat exchangers (46,48) with this additional heat either being transferred to the combustion air or to other fluid streams within or without the plant. |
