Light-initiated, cationically curing epoxy compositions are described which, based on 100 parts of the total composition in each case, consist of (A) 0.0001 to 10 parts of at least one retarder, (B) 0.001 to 10 parts of at least one accelerator, (C) 0.1 up to 5 parts of a ferrocenium complex salt, (D) 10 to 99.5 parts of at least one compound containing cycloaliphatic epoxy groups and (E) 0 to 60 parts of conventional auxiliaries and additives. The compositions are used for gluing, casting, sealing or coating substrates. The course of curing of the epoxy materials can be adjusted and adjusted particularly finely for each desired application by the coordinated simultaneous presence of retarders and accelerators, so that the materials do not experience an increase in viscosity for at least 30 seconds from the start of activating radiation and at least after exposure Can be applied without restrictions for 30 seconds. The masses harden within 24 hours at room temperature without additional energy. |
