The invention relates to a device for pumping blood and, in addition to a pulsating blood pump element, has an active clamp valve (14, 15) on the inlet and outlet side of the pump element and at least one sensor section (13) on the outlet side, in which pressure and flow rate sensors are provided. A control unit (11) registers pressure and flow rate via the sensor signals and controls the clamping valves (14, 15) and a pump (9) which increases or decreases the pressure in a housing (2) of the blood pump. A flexible container provided in the housing, preferably a pressure bladder (1), is compressed or expanded by the pressure changes and in this way conveys pulsating blood. Hose connections (3, 4), which are attached to the pressure bladder (1), lead out of the pressure-tight housing (2) to the outside and to the sensor section (13), as well as the clamping valves (14, 15) and allow the connection of the rest of the circuit . |
