abstract |
Compositions containing urea or a salt of urea, a guanidine phosphate, an ammonium polyphosphate and an alkali metal salt of an inorganic acid are suitable for the treatment of fiber materials. By applying such compositions in the form of aqueous solutions or dispersions to fiber materials such as e.g. Fabrics can achieve good flame-retardant properties of the fiber materials. The flame retardant properties have good permanence after washing processes. The smoke development during thermal treatment of the fiber materials is low. |
