abstract | This invention provides a herbicidal composition in the form of an aqueous concentrated microemulsion comprising: (a) a herbicidal active component consisting of a combination of a C1-C8 alkyl ester of 2-(4-(2'-fluoro-4'-cyanophenoxy)phenoxy)propionic acid and a water soluble salt of 3-isopropyl-1H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazine-4-(3H)-one 2,2-dioxide; (b) ethoxylated styrylphenol as a surfactant; (c) one or more organic solvents selected from the group consisting of aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, fatty acid esters and aromatic carboxylic acid esters; and (d) water. The composition exhibits a good prolonged storage stability both at high and low temperatures, is transparent and uniform, and useful as a herbicide for paddy field. |
