abstract New polyester-polyurethanes and their preparation process.n n n These polyester-polyurethanes essentially consist of units corresponding to the following formulas (I) and (II): in which: R is alkylene, cycloalkylene or a divalent aromatic radical of C₆-C₁₅, n is an integer such that the molecular weight of the repeating unit is between 400 and 5,000, R₁ represents: (i) (̵CH₂ , m is 2 to 12, and (ii) R₂ represents: R₃ being hydrogen or C ram-C₃ branched alkyl, R₄ being hydrogen or alkyl, linear or branched C₁-C₄, R₅ being alkyl, linear or branched C₁-C₄, and p being 0 or 1, and in which: R is as defined above, A is C₂-C₂₀ alkylene substituted by a carboxylic or sulfonic acid function, or interrupted by a tertiary nitrogen atom, the molar ratio between the units (II) and (I) being between 1 and 10.n n n These new polyester-polyurethanes make it possible to obtain pseudo-latexes which can be used in cosmetic compositions.
