titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF TAXANE DERIVATIVES.
abstract Process for the electrochemical preparation of taxane derivatives of general formula (I) from a product of general formula (II). In general formula (I), Ar represents an aryl radical, R1 represents a benzoyl radical or an R2-O-CO- radical in which R2 represents an alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, bicycloalkyl, phenyl or heterocyclyl radical and R represents a hydrogen atom or the acetyl radical. In general formula (II), Ar and R are defined as in general formula (I), R 'represents an acetyl or 2,2,2-trichloroethoxycarbonyl radical and G1 represents a 2,2,2-trichloroethoxycarbonyl radical and G2 represents a hydrogen atom. The products of general formula (I) exhibit remarkable anti-tumor properties.
