titleOfInvention Novel enzyme complex for breaking blocking gels
abstract The invention relates to a method for degrading a blocking gel in an underground formation of a wellbore in which a gelable blocking gel is first formed by mixing it with an aqueous fluid, a hydratable polymer, an agent. A crosslinking agent suitable for crosslinking the hydratable polymer to produce a polymer gel. The polymer gel may contain an enzymatic breaking agent. The crosslinked polymer gel is pumped from the wellbore. If necessary, an enzymatic breaking agent is added by external application before proceeding with the degradation of the gel. The enzymatic breaker is allowed to degrade the crosslinked polymer to reduce the viscosity of the fluid so that the fluid can be removed from the bottom of the formation and brought to the surface of the well. The enzymatic breaking agent used has an activity with a pH level of between 1 and 8 and is effective in attacking only specific bonds in the crosslinked polymer gel.
