The reaction mixture is then inactivated by reaction with carbon dioxide. Finally, the catalyst system thus obtained is used, together with an aluminum compound, to polymerize C3-C10-alk-1-enes at temperatures between 20 and 150 ° C and at pressures ranging from 1 to 100 bar. . During the polymerization, it is not necessary to add additional amounts of the electron donor compound (II).
