The steel contains, in weight proportions, from 20 to 30% of chromium, from 25 to 32% of nickel, from 3 to 7% of molybdenum, from 0.35 to 0.8% of nitrogen, from 0.5 5.4% manganese, up to 0.06% carbon and up to 1% silicon. Steel can be used due to its great versatility in corrosion resistance, in particular for the manufacture of smoke abatement equipment, equipment for the pulp industry, for the chemical industry or for the exploitation of petroleum, seawater installations and for the manufacture of tanks for the transport of corrosive products. Steel has very high structural stability. |
