abstract The invention relates to a single chain Fv (sFv) polypeptide forming a binding site which exhibits the immunological binding properties of an immunoglobulin molecule which binds to c-erbB-2 or to a tumor antigen associated with c-erbB-2, the sFv comprises at least two polypeptide domains linked by a polypeptide linking segment covering the distance between the C-terminal end of one domain and the N-terminal end of the other domain, the sequence amino acid of each of the polypeptide domains has a group of complementarity determining regions (CDRs) located between a set of framework regions (FRs), the CDRs conferring an immunological bond to c-erbB-2 or to the tumor antigen associated with c-erbB-2.
