Process for the denitrification of flue gases |
abstract |
In the process for the selective non-catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides, a liquid nitrogen-containing reducing agent is injected into the hot flue gas stream with the aid of two-substance nozzle lances. The injection takes place in pulsating operation at a frequency of 5 s⁻¹ to 70 s⁻¹, preferably 10 s⁻¹ to 20 s⁻¹. The result of this mode of operation is that a spray cone with relatively large drops of long range and a spray cone with relatively fine drops of short range are generated alternately at each two-component nozzle. Ammonia (ammonia water) dissolved in water is used as a reducing agent at flue gas temperatures of 1060 ° C to 1170 ° C. The device for carrying out this method consists of a flue gas duct 3, in which a plurality of two-substance nozzle lances 4 operated with a pressure medium are installed. The liquid and gas supply of a two-substance nozzle lance 4 are each connected to a first resonance chamber 15 arranged in the two-substance nozzle, which is followed by at least one further resonance chamber 18 which is separated from the first resonance chamber 15 by an orifice 17. The last resonance chamber 18 seen in the direction of flow is then connected directly to the outlet opening 19 of the two-substance nozzle. |
