titleOfInvention | Curable aqueous dispersions of acrylate-modified polyamide resin |
abstract | This invention relates to aqueous dispersions of acrylate modified polyamide resin having unaltered acrylate functionality. These acrylate-modified polyamide dispersions harden when exposed to ultraviolet radiation or thermal energy, to form crosslinked films useful for example as adhesive coatings. In a preferred embodiment, the modified acrylate dispersions are formed by adding a polyol ester comprising a multiplicity of acrylate ester groups, in a polyamide resin comprising a multiplicity of free amino groups, under conditions suitable for forming its Michael type adduct. |
