titleOfInvention Bomb calorimeter
abstract The application relates to a calorimetric measuring device with a digestion vessel (2), the interior of which is designed as a reaction space and can be sealed, the digestion vessel being interchangeably arranged in a casing (6) and having at least one temperature sensor (5) for measuring the temperature reached in the digestion vessel . It is characteristic of the measuring device according to the invention that the casing has a measuring vessel receiving the digestion vessel, the wall of which consists at least in regions of a thermally conductive material, that the inner walls of this measuring vessel are spaced from the outer walls of the digestion vessel to form an intermediate space in which a gaseous intermediate medium is provided and that the measuring device has at least one second temperature sensor (12, 20) for measuring the temperature change occurring in the thermally conductive wall area of the measuring vessel. With the aid of the measuring device according to the invention, calorimetric calorific value determinations with high precision and short measuring time are possible, whereby comparatively many measurements can also be carried out in one day.
