titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR BRIQUETTING AND CONSOLIDATION OF FINE GRAIN MATERIALS.
abstract A process allows briquetting and granulating by compression of inorganic fine-grained materials, in particular metallurgical dust, iron shavings, polishing dust, quicklime, plaster and inorganic fertilizers. Briquettes or granules are stored in order to eliminate these rejections, or preferably are subjected to efficient recycling. The object of the invention is to obtain briquettes or granules having a high solidity, with a reduced use of binders, while improving the stability of the compression process. To this end, paper fibers reduced to very fine particles are added to the materials to be briquetted and the agglomerates are formed from the homogeneous mixture of materials with compression pressures greater than 60 MPa.
