abstract |
Novel cosmid cloning vectors are disclosed. Such vectors facilitate many steps involved in cloning chromosomal DNA restriction fragments from streptomycetes. The cosmids have Adenine and Thymine-rich recognition sequences for several restriction enzymes flanking cloning sites. Also disclosed are host cells containing the novel cosmid cloning vectors. |
