Icams immunoglobulin constant region soluble fusion proteins |
abstract |
Soluble fusion molecules have been prepared which contain a specific binding region of CD11a / CD18, operably linked to a constant region of immunoglobulin. These molecules more particularly comprise extracellular parts of adhesion molecules such as ICAM-1 and ICAM-2 joined to constant regions of IgG. The fusion proteins described are used as co-stimulants for the activation of T cells and in methods for increasing the proliferative response of CD4 + T cells and promoting the production of IL-2. |
