A multi-purpose strip made of plastic, which can be used not only as an edge protection rail, but also as a movement joint strip and for other purposes, is characterized by a profile with a ⊥ configuration (2 '+ 3' + 4 ') which the upstanding middle leg serves as an end leg (2 ') and that one of the two spread-apart fastening legs (3', 4 ') can be easily removed if desired. |
