A compound (Ia) or (Ib) is prepared by reacting, in a polar aprotic solvent, on a salt of a carboxylic or dicarboxylic acid (IIa) or (IIb), a compound (III). The reaction can be carried out under pressure, but also at normal atmospheric pressure or in the vicinity of normal atmospheric pressure (in particular between 0.10 bar and 2 bar). The product (Ia) or (Ib) formed is, in the latter case, continuously recovered as it is formed. R¹, R² = hydrocarbon radicals, acyclic or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, optionally substituted; R³ = perhalogenated C₁-C₁₀ alkyl; 0 <n ≦ 4; X = halogen.n n n The applications of the fluorinated alkyl (meth) acrylates obtained are in particular: anti-dust or anti-fouling paints for various substrates such as exterior coverings, metallic furniture; optical fiber ; contact lenses ; lithography; electrophotography; heat resistant materials; dental resins. |
