abstract Inflatable supporting structure intended to position and carry a product inside an outer packaging container. Said product has predetermined outer dimensions, and the outer packaging container forms a chamber having predetermined inner dimensions. The supporting structure consists of a plurality of modules, each of which comprises a bladder capable of receiving and retaining air. The bladder has a first compartment and a second compartment which are in fluid communication through a narrow passage limiting the flow of air passing from one of the compartments to the other. A physical damping effect of the product carried by the modules is thus obtained. A connecting part in the form of a flange is fixed to the bladder and allows the modules to be interconnected. When the modules are interconnected, a cavity capable of receiving a product is formed. The shape of this cavity is adapted to the predetermined external dimensions of the product.
