abstract The invention aims to improve the coloring intensity and the resistance qualities of hair coloring agents, based on natural dyes soluble in water, by using as combination agent a combination (A) of at least a natural dye soluble in water, and (B) of at least one indoline of formula (I), or of its salts, in a support, preferably, in the form of an emulsion or in the form of a gel. After an action time of 10 to 40 minutes, a rinse is carried out to rid the hair of the excess coloring agent, after which the hair is air dried.
