titleOfInvention Sensor device adapted to measure vital data of a fetus during delivery
abstract A device for measuring vital parameters of a fetus (1) during childbirth contains a sensor, in particular for the blood oxygen content, which is attached to the leading part of the fetus.n n n In order to prevent the arterial blood flow in the tissue of the fetus (1) from being impaired by the attachment of the sensor to the tissue at the measuring point, the sensor is designed as an approximately round, curved shell (5) which has a concavity on its concave side ( 6), and is divided into a fastening zone (10) located in the center and into an elastic edge zone (11) surrounding it, in which light emitters (12) and receivers (13) are arranged, the edge zone (11) being the one on the fabric attached shell (5) resiliently rests on the tissue of the fetus.
