| abstract |
The invention relates to a process for degreasing and cleaning metal surfaces by means of an aqueous cleaning liquid containing surfactants in baths and/or by spraying. In order to economically and quickly obtain an accurate measurement of the bath load and of the cleaning reserve, so as to allow a more precise subsequent dosage of the cleaning product, it is proposed, according to the invention, that for determining the cleaning reserve of the cleaning liquid, a value correlated to the dynamic surface tension is measured by means of a bubble tensiometer operating with sufficiently constant gas currents, that the measured values are compared with a determined target value having been obtained by calibration for the cleaning agent used and that, depending on the result of the comparison, measures are taken for the treatment of the cleaning liquid. |
