abstract |
Methylenebisthiocyanate and charged detergents, both biocides, interact to form a complex; one can use this interaction for the analysis of one or the other. The complex can be dissociated using lauric sulphate. Another analysis consists in contacting an immobilized nonionic hydrophobic material with the sample and with an agent which binds to the surfactant thus insolubilized but not with the material, and then with an eluent for the agent, and determining the presence of the agent in the eluate. |
