A labeled complex formed by combining anlabeling agent with a biological substance, where thenlabeling agent is a trinucleus dye represented by thengeneral formula (I)' or (II)': n ring(Xa)-La-ring(Xb)-Lb-ring(Xc)(I)' n [ring(Xa)-La-ring(Xb)-Lb-ring(Xc)] ⊕ Y ⊖ (II)' nwhere the ring(Xa), ring(Xb), and ring(Xc), which meannrings having Xa, Xb, or Xc respectively, arenindependently a heterocyclic ring having one to threenheteroatoms of oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, or selenium, nthe heterocyclic ring being unsubstituted ornsubstituted by any of a substituted or unsubstitutednalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, nand a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group; Lanand Lb are independently a methine chain composed ofnone to six substituted or unsubstituted methinenlinkage, and one of La and Lb may be omitted to linkndirectly the heterocyclic rings; and Y ⊖ represents annanion. n A method of analysis, comprises combining anynof the labeled complex with a target substance to bendetected, and detecting the target substance optically. |
