COMBINED PARAFFINISOMERIZATION / RING OPENING METHOD. |
abstract |
Combined process for the decyclization of aromatic and cycloaliphatic compounds and the isomerization of aliphatic compounds, according to which a feed stream comprising hydrocarbons having 6 carbon atoms and at least two reactors connected in series is used. The first reactor (20) uses a zeolitic catalyst and operates under conditions which particularly stimulate decyclization. The catalyst in this first reactor can include zeolite Beta and platinum. A downstream reactor (40) operates under conditions that stimulate the isomerization of aliphatic compounds. The catalyst in the second reactor may include alumina, platinum and a chloride. The hydrogen contained in the effluent from the first reactor (20) can be removed and returned to the first reactor. The hydrogen remaining dissolved in the effluent from the first reactor after the hydrogen has been returned to the first reactor is sufficient to supply the second reactor. |
