abstract Unflavored compositions of soluble drinkable mixtures containing psyllium husk. They essentially consist of particles of psyllium husk of small dimensions of which less than approximately 10% do not pass through a sieve of approximately 60 mesh, of less than approximately 2.0% of edible acid, and of sugar. These compositions are unflavored so that psyllium can be mixed in small particles, this psyllium being easy to suspend in a liquid of non-coarse consistency, with a wider range of liquids, for example with beverages based on milk or fruit, without causing rapid gelation of the psyllium husk.
