abstract |
The present invention provides a method for producing azadirachtin, comprising:n a) generating callus cell cultures of Azadirachta from Azadirachta indica tissues inoculated with Agrobacterium tumefaciens in a cell culture medium, b) forming a suspension cell culture comprising cells and medium, by inoculating callus cells from the callus cell cultures into an aqueous culture medium, c) maintaining the suspension cell culture such that azadirachtin is produced therein, and d) recovering the azadirachtin from the suspension cell culture. |
