Metallocene catalyst systems for polymerizing C2- to C10-alkenes are produced by deactivating a preactivated metallocene catalyst system that contains as active components metallocene complexes of metals from the IV and V subgroups of the periodic table and an oligomeric alumoxane compound, then by reactivating if necessary said metallocene catalyst systems. |
