abstract The present invention relates to a disposable hygienic article, for example, a baby diaper, having an absorbent sheet (2) comprising one or more additive materials (4) adapted to improve the flow absorption characteristics of the diaper. The layer is characterized in that the quantity of such additives in a first absorbent part adapted to be close to the flow source to be absorbed by said absorbent part during use, is reduced compared to the parts in relation outward flow of said part. Preferably, a layer is obtained having zones in which the fluid can flow freely towards the absorbent zone by cutting out the appropriate parts (30) of a sheet (6) situated between the skin layer and the absorbent layer adjacent, which intermediate sheet carries some or all of the additive absorbent materials.
