The invention relates to a method of fermenting a species of Streptomyces to produce natamicyne. A suspension of Streptomyces species spores is propagated in a predetermined medium in order to obtain a quantity of Streptomyces cells. Streptomyces cells ferment in a predetermined production medium to produce a recoverable amount of natamycin. |
