abstract | Derivatives of 2-aminooxymethylenephenylacetic acid esters of the formula I <IMAGE> as the free base and as the salt with protic acids, are important intermediates for the production of microbicides in plant protection. In the abovementioned formula, Z1 and Z2 denote hydrogen, halogen, hydroxyl, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C4-haloalkyl, C1-C4-haloalkoxy, C1-C4- alkylcarbonyl, C1-C4-alkoxycarbonyl, phenoxy, nitro or cyano, Z1 and Z2, together with the phenyl radical to which they are bonded, denote optionally hydrogenated naphthalene, and R3 denotes hydrogen or C1-C12-alkyl. The invention also relates to a simplified method for the preparation of the compounds of the formula I and a method for the production of microbicides from these intermediates. |
