Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method which employs a diamagnetic contrast agent comprising non-magnetic gas-carrying micro-particles. Said microparticles are preferably microspheres made up of tiny gas bubbles encapsulated in a stabilized biocompatible material. Said method is particularly useful for visualizing the vascular system, in angiography or venography for example. |
