To stabilize proteins in an aqueous solution, one or more proteins from the family of "small heat shock proteins" (small Hsp's) are added to the aqueous protein-containing solution. Among other things, this Use to support the in vitro renaturation of denatured proteins and to keep the sensitivity constant in optical tests in protein-containing solutions, in which disturbances can occur due to low stability of protein components present in the test solution. |
