The invention relates to a method of using somatotropin to improve the reproductive capacity of cattle by starting to administer it early in the postpartum period. According to one aspect of the invention, somatotropin (5 mg / day) is administered from the fifth day postpartum until the animal becomes pregnant or for approximately 100 days after delivery. |
