The invention relates to compounds represented by the formula: (I); where: A represents BocNH, CbzNH, H, R'R''N, R''CONR ', or, when a, b and c have the value 0 and Y is a covalent bond, then A represents H, Boc, Cbz , R '' or R''CO; C and D are the same or different and represent Ala, beta-Ala, D-Ala, Phe, Phg or Val; X represents Ala, Ile, Leu, Val; Y represents Ala, Ile, Leu, Val or a covalent bond; Z represents Co2OR '' '', CHONR'R '', COR ', CH2OR' '' ', CH2OC (O) R' 'or H, or, when e is equal to 0 and Y is a covalent bond, then Z represents OR '' '' or NR'R '' ''; b, c and e each have the value 0 or 1 separately provided that c and e do not simultaneously have the value 0; M represents (alpha); where: R1 represents separately AlkC1-5, an alkenyl C3-5 or a benzyl, R 'and R' 'represent H or AlkC1-5; R '' '' represents H, AlkC1-5, a C3-6 cycloalkyl, (CH2) nC6H5, (CH2) nC5H4N, (CH2) nOH, (CH2) nNH2, or (CH2) nNHC (NH) NH2. These compounds are inhibitors of the HIV-1 prosthesis and are useful in the treatment of AIDS. |
