titleOfInvention Milking system with positive pressure on thin liner
abstract Milking machine combining the use of a flexible non-extensible thin-walled sleeve (82) and the application of positive pressure during the "massage" time of the milking cycle, and making it possible to solve problems such as congestion, edema, hyperkeratosis and reduced milking rate. In another embodiment, the flexible thin-walled sleeve acts as a pressure switch which limits the amount of negative pressure applied to the lower end of the teat (16). In yet another embodiment, the risk of contamination between the teats through the teat cup (36) is reduced by minimizing changes in the volume of the sleeve (82) below the teat (16) during milking.
