abstract |
Mutant B. lentus DSM 5483 proteases derived by replacing at least one amino acid residue of the mature form of the alkaline B. lentus DSM 5483 protease. Mutant proteases are expressed by genes that have been mutated by site-specific mutagenesis. The amino acid sites chosen to be replaced are identified by means of a computer process consisting in comparing the three-dimensional structure of the wild-type protease with a reference protease. |
