Dihydroxy fatty acids used as polyurethane units |
abstract |
Dihydric fatty acids and / or polydihydric fatty acids are used as compounds bearing an ionizable group and reactive with respect to isocyanates in order to produce polyurethanes containing carboxyl functions. Dihydroxylic fatty acids are obtained on the basis of natural raw materials and do not have the drawbacks of the hydroxycarboxylic acids used in the prior state of the art. Their use also makes it possible to improve the profile of the properties of the polyurethanes thus produced. |
