Detergent compositions containing substantially pure eg iii cellulase |
abstract |
Detergent compositions containing an effective cleaning amount of a surfactant or mixture of surfactants and from about 0.01 to about 5% by weight of pure EG III cellulase. The detergent composition preferably contains no more than about 5% by weight of components of type CBH I calculated on the basis of the total weight of the cellulase proteins. When used in aqueous washing media the detergent compositions provide color retention / regeneration properties as well as softening and improved feel properties to fabrics containing cotton. |
