The present invention provides a process for preparing a transgenic plant producing antiviral protein by transforming with recombinant vector for antiviral protein expression, which contains a PAP gene isolated from Phytolacca americana cDNA library and a vector for foreign protein expression. Virus-resistant plant and antiviral agent produced therefrom can also be developed in accordance with the present invention. |
