abstract | A dry planographic printing plate suitable for use in commercial web offset printing and newspaper web offset printing includes a photosensitive layer and a silicone rubber layer both laminated successively onto a base substrate. The photosensitive layer contains a diamine derivative represented by the following general formula (1):n nin which R i , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each independently hydrogen or a hydrocarbon, substituted hydrocarbon, acyl or substituted acyl, group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R 5 and R 6 are each independently hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms and any of the groups R 5 and R 6 is optionally alternatively bonded to either of the methylene groups remote from the oxygen (as shown in formula 1), or adjacent the oxygen, in the ether chain, and n is 1 to 50. |
