The subject of the invention is an agent for the oxidizing dyeing of the hair, containing at least one coupling substance of general formula (I), in which R denotes a C1 to C4 alkyl residue with a straight or branched chain, X denotes a chlorine or a fluorine and R1 denotes a straight or branched chain C1 to C4 alkyl residue or a straight or branched chain C2 to C4 hydroxyalkyl residue, as well as the new 5-halogeno-2,4-bis(alkylamino)-1- alkylbenzols. The coupling substances of formula (I) can be obtained by simple chemical reactions; they are well soluble in water and have, in particular as constituents of the hair dyes described herein, good storage stability. In addition to the multiplicity of shades obtained, the hair dyes produced with the agents according to the invention are characterized in particular by the intensity obtained in the red shades and by good uniformity in the blues. |
