abstract |
An electroconductive fine powder comprising tin oxide as its main component and containing phosphorus at an atomic ratio of P/Sn = 2.7 x 10⁻² - 1.4 x 10⁻¹, said powder having a specific surface area of at least 10 m²/g and a powder electrical resistance of not more than 500 Ωcm. This substance is prepared by allowing to react a soluble tin compound solution with an acid or alkali in the presence of a soluble phosphorus compound, and the thus obtained phosphorus-containing tin oxide hydrate is fired at 800-1300°C. This electroconductive fine powder is a very fine, transparent powder having superior electroconductive properties as well as being safe to handle. |
