Hardenable resins with carrier-supported anti-foaming agents. |
abstract |
The invention relates to new water-curable resins and to an orthopedic molding material incorporating these resins. Water-curable resins contain agents that reduce foaming during curing. Said agents consist of an anti-foaming composition in sorption on a solid support or encapsulated in said support. Simultaneously with the hardening of the resin in water, the support disintegrates by activating the anti-foaming composition. The anti-foaming composition is preferably a polysiloxane. |
